There’s actually no wrong or right, only black and white. You may, though, consider black as wrong and white as right. But sometimes black isn’t wrong as well as white isn’t right. Depends on how you look at it.

FIRST of all, Percy supposed to be a twelve year old boy. He supposed to be around Daniel Radcliffe’s age when he was first play Harry Potter. And definitely NOT Logan Lerman’s age.

SECONDly, WHERE ARE THE COOL STUFF? Like when Poseidon admitted Percy as his son. Or when Percy, Anabelle and Grover had lunch with Ares (I think that’s cool since not everyone got a chance having lunch with a god of war). Or the Oracle. Or the game Grover played when they were at Vegas. Or the three witches. Or the awesome building to go to the underworld. Or even the superb cabins…

Anyway, yea, the Hydra thing was great (I don’t recall reading about it in the book), though I don’t remember they collected any gems either.

And THIRD, where’s Clarisse? She’s such an important character. She plays quite big part in the books.

FORTH, NO creatures supposed to be able to come into the camp unless someone inside allow them to. What about the creature that showed up out of fire at dinner time?

FIFTH, I thought I saw Hogwarts in the film… I bet you know what I mean.

SIXTH, well… I guess five is enough for now.

Fruit vs Toothbrush

I was probably half asleep as I took a bath couple days ago. So when I was brushing my teeth, I accidentally hurt my gums. and, man, it was such a pain. I told my mom about this, hoping she could help.

‘My gum is killing me,’ I said.

‘Go eat that dragon fruit over there,’ she told me. ‘It has a lot of vitamin c.’ she sighed. ‘Nobody eat fruits when we have them, but when we don’t you always ask me to buy some.’

Well, I have a better idea, I thought, use toothbrush more carefully.

And perhaps I was daydreaming when I ate those oranges while reading books.

And now my gum’s still in pain.

HAIRSPRAY – John Travolta & Christopher Walken

Have u watch it yet? You should! I saw it last night and now I can’t stop imagining Edna (John Travolta) and Wilbur (Christopher Walken) were singing together as a couple–husband and wife.

Gosh! They could make a perfect–coughgaycough–couple. And that’s horrible!

Jayabaya The Seer

Jayabaya is a Hindus religious figure and a king from the Kediri Kingdom in Indonesia. He had lived long before the Dutch and the Portuguese came. He was very popular at his time, and still is, because of his prediction about the future. He’s a gifted Seer, that he predicted the future, beyond centuries, correctly. Here are some of his predictions (based on what I heard from my teacher):

There will be foreigners

The Dutch and the Portuguese really came to Java and even the Dutch ruled for about 350 years. A long time, I know. But that wasn’t the worst yet.

There will be short people, only for a corn age long (3,5 months)

The Japanese came by, kicked the Dutch out and they ruled Indonesia, as the Dutch had done before them, for 3,5 years.

There will be misery

Many Indonesian died at Romusha. They were extremely hungry, sick and horribly weak but they couldn’t stop working because of the cunning Japanese. If that’s not a misery, well, what is it called then?

There will be happiness

Life will be so much unfair if there’s misery but no happiness. Indonesia was free on Friday, August 17th, 1945 at 10 Am on Pegangsaan Timur Street number 56 in Jakarta. Happiness all over Indonesia. (Yeah! Freedom is everything! Thanks to Mr. Soekarno and Mr. Hatta, anyway. The best president and vice president ever. And they’re genius too.)

There will be iron necklace in Java

The train tracks are over Java right now and if nobody noticed, track does look like an incredibly long necklace.

There will be carriages with no horse

It means cars, of course. And motorcycles. And planes, ships, trains, etc. Any modern transportation you mention.

There will be a crazy age

It’s now. Today. This hour, this minute, this second. Look around you and admit these: men are women, women are men. Good things are bad, bad things are good. Nice people behind, and cunning, cheat, arrogant, liar, moron, jerk, and jackass people lead the way. Go on. Admit them. The world is going to nothing but crush.

There will be an emptiness

Doomsday. What else?

If you’re interested and still wondering if those prediction are true or not, you better read history books. Indonesian history books, of course. I doubt you’ll find any in other books. And you may search it in somewhere in Internet but I already do that and not find any in English. So, well, good luck!

Do you believe in God? Some people do and some don’t believe it.

If you think for a while, you may realize that some things happened magically in your life. I don’t know what it is, but I’m sure there are some.

Like, me, weird things in my life happened many times. One of them, which I remember the most, was when I went home from school a couple years ago. It was a rainy day. The wind was hard and lightnings were everywhere. And I remember the street was washed away. Storm.

Well, I walked right under the rain cause I didn’t bring my umbrella. And I had no more money to use any transportation so I just walked. I was so wet and scared that time. I couldn’t stop imagined the lightning would burn me on. I tried to run but water around me held me. It was like they wouldn’t let me reach my home. And nobody was there to help me. I was totally alone.

Then I prayed. I just prayed and prayed, asked God to help me. Guess what? It worked. Suddenly the lightnings stopped. The wind stopped. The rain still fell down, but it wasn’t as hard as before, so I could ran as fast as possible to my house, alive. But then after I was already in my bedroom, the storm continued.

I just can’t forget that day. I thank God so much that I will always remember that experience. But it isn’t the only ‘magic’ thing I have. There’s more, and I can’t tell them one by one. They’re just too much to tell.

Anyway, some people may not believe my story, but I don’t care. Cause I know I didn’t make it up and it did happened to me.

Well, what about you? Do you have any weird experience like that? Believe it or not, you wish for it or not, God is always around and will always be there for you–if you asked.

Jakarta

I hate Jakarta.

I mean, its Dufan’s good, but the weather’s horrible. And the skyscrapers. They make Jakarta worse than worst. That’s suck. And Soekarno chose it as the capital city. What was he thinking?

I a little bit agree with Daendels. Long ago, he wanted to choose Bandung as the capital city. That was why he made the Anyer-Panarukan Way–my teacher told me that. Daendels thought that Bandung was much saver than Jakarta. It’s also beautiful; no wonder people called it Paris van Java.

I agree with him not because I live in Bandung. But because Bandung is beautiful and it is saver. Well, at least there you still can find fresh air. And the weather isn’t bad. I like the air. It’s warm and cool. Sometimes it’s hot and freezing but it’s not often. Bandung also has Blitz–my cousin said it was the biggest cinema in Indonesia but honestly, I’m still wonder if it’s true–who cares? It still big.

Anyway, I went to Jakarta yesterday to celebrate my uncle’s birthday. I didn’t really mind, actually, but the weather made me full of doubt. The party itself wasn’t bad. The food was great and although there was no music, gathering with family will never be suck. The best part was Uno. The truth is that day was my first time I play Uno. It wasn’t bad at all. In fact, I loved the game.

Yesterday wasn’t fantastic but wasn’t bad either. But the worst thing came the day after– it’s today. I didn’t go to school this morning ’cause I felt dizzy. And I know something is wrong with my stomach now ’cause I don’t feel good. Is it because the food that I ate yesterday, or because I can’t adapt with the weather in Jakarta–which is always make me get a headache every time I go there?

I tell you again, I hate Jakarta.

Lord of the Rings

Lord of the Rings trilogy, a well-known fifty year old books, and they’re still sold in many bookstores around the world. They’re also still quite expensive (at least for me)–about 50 thousand rupiahs for one book. The movies themselves are awesome. The last one, Return of the King, got eleven awards! (my favorite part is the war–the ghosts are so cool! And Legolas and Gimli were funny when they count their victims.)

But before Frodo’s adventure began, there was another one: There and Here; Bilbo Baggins’ adventure. But the book itself is titled The Hobbit. It tells about how Bilbo helped the dwarfs (thirteen dwarfs–nice number) get their treasure back from the dragon which stole it. On their way, they were trapped in a mountain which was full of goblins. Inside that mountain Bilbo found The One Ring and met Gollum. Then the story begin.

Anyway, Tolkien made such an awesome story. He was known all over the world as the author of LotR and as the closest friend of C.S. Lewis, who was known as the author of The Chronicles of Narnia. But some people–in this case, some of my friends–somehow don’t know who Tolkien is. I think it’s kinda weird ’cause an eight year old kid (my brother) knows him. Well, at least he knows the films; the books are too heavy for him.

This far I only had The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the Ring and all the movies–but not the original ones. So, if anyone has any idea where I can get the original movies or wants to give me the last two books free (I doubt that), just tell me. I collect them.
